growing up dad used to beat her and mom; constantly questioning where his aggression came from mom did her best, but strong she never stood; always said she would leave if she could this young girl still withstood all the pain; praying for sunshine but all she got was rain she knew her family situation was wrong; what didnt kill her eventually made her strong.
but at some point her heart grew...
